Create your Google Cloud project
Select or create a project in Google Cloud Console and link a billing account.
Enable Places API (New)
Enable Places API (New), create an API key, and restrict it to the required API and your server's outbound IP where appropriate.
Connect your key
Sign in to Heimdall, open Scrape → Google Places, and connect your key. The key stays in your backend session until sign-out or session expiry.
Monitor usage and billing
Google Places usage is billed separately by Google according to your usage. The ₹100 Heimdall purchase does not cover Google Places and Foursquare API fees.
Provider policy review
Google restricts storage and export of Places content. Full-result storage, CSV export and team sharing remain subject to provider review before launch.
Free API requests
Google’s global pricing includes 1,000 free Text Search Enterprise requests each month. India-eligible accounts have separate allowances. Google bills the account linked to your key.
